Mission Statement To preserve and protect the Keystone Wetlands and Archaeological site through the creation of a Heritage Park which allows for the study of the archaeological site, the restoration and enhancement of the wetlands, and the education of adults and children of the region, the nation and the world about the Archaic Period civilization and the habitat of the northern Chihuahuan desert.    El Paso Desert Botanical Garden Hours  NOW OPEN -10 am to 2 pm Saturdays and Sundays (As we add more volunteers we hope to have the gardens open during the week)   Admission:  $2 donation for non-members $1.00 children - Free to members.   Keystone's Chihuahuan Desert Experience (immediately west of the wetland) open daily from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm for walking and bird watching; enter through the gate at the north end of the parking lot    Bird Watching with the Trans Pecos Audubon Society From the viewing stand inside the Botanical Garden on the 2nd Saturday of the month and the last Saturday of the month from 9:30 'til noon   School and Private Tours                                                                      Desert Botanical Gardens and wetlands are a natural learning enviroment for students of all ages.
